The image of people come to a halt moments and moods, I do portraits, in which the holiness and everyday life, the chaos and the peace of the encounter. According to the latest books via themes and colors I got impressions of residencies in Mexico and historical photographs, especially of war images. What is interesting is the way of religion and everyday seamless mixing appear in the human body, what is seen soldiers peaceful moments in the midst of all the confusion. I work in painting and engraving wood.

APT artist Camilla Vuorenmaa is a graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in 2005 and have been the debut exhibition in Galleria Katariina 2006. Last year Vuorenmaa was awarded the Kunsthal Charlotte Borg international solo exhibition prize and a large exhibition took place in Copenhagen in the spring of 2014.
