Off: Away From the Place in Question

Casas Riegner is pleased to present “Off: Away From the Place in Question,” an exhibition highlighting works by five contemporary artists that have quickly achieved international recognition thanks to their ambitious and unique projects.

Within the past five years, Mateo Lopez, Rosario López Parra, Frances Trombly, Adrian Villar Rojas, and Icaro Zorbar have been exhibiting widely both in their home countries and abroad. On this occasion, the gallery has chosen to showcase works—in different media—by these well-accomplished young artists ranging from large-scale installations to graphite and cutout drawings, photographs, and hand-woven replicas of ordinary objects. Addressing a broad array of themes such as the world of dreams, geometric abstraction, the materiality of objects, the fate of humanity, and the notion of landscape, these five works presented together for the first time, promise to be a one of a kind opportunity to view works by highly talented artists some of which are fast-rising stars.
