New Works by Ala Ebtekar

In Ala Ebtekar’s acrylic and ink paintings, images of weaponry and Al Buraq or Shemeg, the horse in Islamic and pre-Islamic Iranian traditions, overlay annotated pages from ancient pages drawn from manuals sourced in old souks in Tehran. 

For his first solo exhibition at The Third Line, Ebtekar shall include works on paper, canvas and sculptural installations incorporating clothing and warrior accessories.
