Monument30 - Chasing Watermarks

Artist Minouk Lim will begin her performance in the bus from Seoul to Cheorwon to have her audience experience the penetration of time and space leading to Cheorwon. Later, at the epicenter of Korea’s contemporary history (Cheorwon’s Water Bureau Site), she will conduct a type of ritual together with other artists, an imaginative performative event. A monument will then be built in memory of the some 300 victims: visitors will be given the chance to reflect the light on the monument in search of the hidden watermarks (based on the idea of digital watermarks).

The performance is held in conjunction with the DMZ PEACE PROJECT 2014.
