Hanging in Sky, Drifting On Surface
Linda Gallery, Singapore, Singapore, 08/31/2008 - 10/15/2008

				ABOUT

The exhibition is a surrealistic form of creation, which will significantly enlighten your imagination, aesthetics, and spirit. The exhibition aims to integrate the characteristics of formalism, installation art as well as the empirical features of today’s society. The theme “Hanging in Sky, Drifting on Surface”, breaks away from the traditional seeing artworks while standing on floor, which promises an “emotionally disturbing” experience. “The Visual Experience of Chinese Contemporary art is comprehensive, which mainly involves the arts of social and political connotations. With gradual improvement of Chinese politics, the relationship between the contemporary art and the politics is also changing, given the contemporary art a tendency to be politicized, and further allowing a false personalization to express collective experience in its own name.” - Zhu Qi, Curator
