Ruby Osorio received a BA in Sociology at UCLA and studied art at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. She has had solo exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis and cherrydelosreyes in Los Angeles. She was awarded an Arcus residency in Japan for the fall of 2005 and has received grants from the Durfee Foundation and the California Community Foundation. Ruby Osorio lives and works in Los Angeles.
