ชีวประวัติ

Agata Bogacka (b.1976 Warsaw, Poland) studied at Graphics Art Department of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.   She lives in and works in Warsaw and is represented by Raster Gallery and Galerie Meyer Kainer

Agata’s studies of graphic design are an underlying quality in almost all of her works. The shapes and figures that she creates in her paintings possess clear lines separating them from their monochromatic backgrounds. She often uses pure color and shape to create the objects within her works. For example, “Agata O1,” a self portrait that includes only shades of blue and gray to create the figure and personality of the artist herself. Although the nature of this figure is simple, Agata has a way of creating sophisticated characteristics through the use of little variation in color and shape.
