Born in Israel in 1969, Sharon Paz is a contemporary artist that presently lives and works in Berlin. In 1994, Paz received her BA in Teaching and Design from Tel Aviv University, Israel. In 1996, she completed the Independent Study Program at Beit-Berl College of Art, Kfar-Saba, Israel, and in 2000, she received her MFA from the Studio Program, from Hunter College, New York. Paz’ selected awards and fellowships include HIAP Residency, Helsinki, Finland (2013); Project funding, Senate of Cultural Affairs, Berlin (2012); Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt art IT, Berlin (2010); Israel National Lottery Council for the Arts (2009); Arttransponder Project Grand, Berlin (2009).
