Wilson Díaz: Quimera

The Colombian artist Wilson Díaz approaches the socio-political, economic and historical situation of his country based on elements and images found, as well as reconstructed actions that produce a particular poetics of the real. From such a diverse practice, including music, performance, drawing, painting, video, photography, he develops one of the central interests of his work: exploring the roots of conflict and corruption. In addition, Diaz seeks to constantly interrogate the different ways in which violence is represented daily in the media, as well as the bombing of propaganda and the multiple reaches that can have the different forces and actors linked to power.
