APT artist Minouk Lim’s work across video, installation and performance often responds to everyday realities of lives lived in an increasingly globalised world. Her poignant artworks speak to individual alienation in the face of the rapid changes taking place in cities such as Seoul, considering the loss of place and collective memory, and, in the process, giving voice to what she calls the ‘ghosts of modernisation’.
