"Slow light draws temporal trajectories that lead from the present to potentials of later points in time. When something is slow, it might be that one will be able to see it much later in time – in a different time. Slow light affects the common practice of seeing similar to the perception of a slowed-down ray of light passing through water. This perception is fragmented over time."
(Tatiana Echeverri Fernandez and Kirsten Palz, 2015)

All works in the exhibition are accompanied by written protocols. These protocols – works in themselves – document material and process. The protocols Slow Light, chapter I-V  are included in the exhibition in order to document alternative ways of perceiving objects. The protocols furthermore archive and record the artist’s prior processes and discussions. They have been written in the studio of Echeverri Fernandez as a reflection on sculptures. The protocols are handed out during the exhibition.
