BIOGRAPHY

Mandla Reuter (b. 1974 Nqutu, South Africa) was educated at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt and Parsons School of Design in New York. He has exhibited widely in Europe and America in solo and group exhibitions, using installations and architectural interventions to investigate the parameters defining systems and spaces of cultural production. He has exhibited widely in Europe and America in solo and group exhibitions, using installations and architectural interventions to investigate the parameters defining systems and spaces of cultural production. 

Recent solo exhibitions include: "Solo w. Croy Nielsen" ABC, art Berlin contemporary, Berlin(2015); "It's Not Late it's Early" Kunstverein Braunschweig, Haus Salve Hospes (2015); Curve Source Foyer Mustermann Bonsai, L40, Berlin (2014). Selected group exhibitions include: Sculpture in Reflection, Künstlerhaus Graz (2014); Augment This, Cherry and Martin, Los Angeles(2014); The Promise of Moving Things, Credac, Ivry (2014). He is currently held in Hessische Kulturstiftung / Hesse Cultural Foundation’s collection, as well as Kulturstiftung Dresden / Cultural Foundation Dresden. Reuter was awarded MAK Schindler House, Los Angeles (2010) and  GASAG Kunstpreis / GASAG Art Award (2007)
