BIOGRAPHY
Anna Von Mertens (b. 1973 Boston) received a BA from Brown University and a MFA from the California College of the Arts. She was a recipient of the 2007 Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Biennial Award. Selected solo exhibitions include the Berkeley Art Museum, Jack Hanley Gallery in San Francisco; Sara Meltzer Gallery in New York; University Art Museum at Cal State Long Beach in Long Beach, California; Gallery Paule Anglim in San Francisco; and Lizabeth Oliveria Gallery in Los Angeles. Selected group exhibitions include Center for Curatorial Studies Museum, Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York; White Box in New York; The Fleming Museum in Burlington, Vermont; Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs in Long Island City, New York; and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Anna Von Mertens lives and works in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
