In Lee Boroson’s work the spiritual environment gently collides with the psychedelic in floating forms. Through his airy sculptures, Boroson hopes his viewers experience the ineffable impossibilities of the world. There is a beauty to the emptiness and fullness of the works that float and create a mysterious environment that surrounds us, nurtures us and slips by us. Boroson’s work is impacted by landscape, pop culture, nature and civilization. His pieces are enchanting, glowing, translucent environments that defy a simple understanding. The objects’ oddness and insensibility beckon viewers and entrap their minds in a world that is seemingly unachievable.
