BIOGRAPHY
Courtney Smith received a BA from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1990, she attended the postgraduate program Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro. Some of her solo exhibitions include Copacabana at Roebling Hall in New York,  Museu do Paco Imperial in Rio de Janeiro and Galerie Espace Montjoie in Paris. Smith also participated in group exhibitions like L-Factor at Exit Art in New York and  Parallela Galeria Fortes Vilaca in São Paulo. Courtney Smith lives and works in New York.
