GIỚI THIỆU

‘Gussin’s objects demonstrate their presence by demonstrating ours; we are more than spectators, we are their witnesses, asserting their existence.’ - Penelope Curtis.

Drop-in to the SLG bookshop for the launch of CLEARBLUESKYDEEPDARKWATER, a new publication by artist Graham Gussin. The 124 page full colour book explores a wide range of the artist's work. Centred around Gussin’s large scale museum show at the CGAC (Galician Centre for Contemporary Art) in Santiago de Compostela in 2013, the book both documents and discusses this show while also incorporating many works from the artist’s broad and varied practice.

The book also includes contributions from writers, curators and artists, including Penelope Curtis, Jon Wood, Jonathan Watkins, Andrew Wilson, Adam Chodzko among many others, with a text by the artist which illuminates concerns and connections running through the work.
