Karen Heagle received her B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and her M.F.A. from Pratt Institute, New York. Selected exhibitions include the Alexander and Bonin Gallery (New York), and United Bamboo (Tokyo). She is represented by the I-20 Gallery. She lives and works in New York City.
