#LES ENFANTS DE Bötzow (3/7)

"Basically, I impose my rules, to be completely free." - As the French author Georges Perec once described his working method. In his epic work   The living. Instructions   (1978) he limited the scope for action on a fictitious block with 99 rooms. Within this artificial setting and using a self-imposed strict control system he piled various interwoven narratives into a complex novel structures. Perec showed not only that the banal breeding ground for the Great, the poetic and the bizarre may be alike, but hunt a focus on the relationships that opens up between things.

The geographical concentration as curatorial approach, the exhibition proposes   #Les Enfants de Bötzow   the way a Creative self-restraint in order to show that each of rules in its turn opens up new scope.
