BEARD SPEAK  by Gilbert and George, the first artistic duo to be elected as Royal Academicians, dominates this gallery . Its vivid colours and use of text and complex layers of appropriated photographs and self-portraits are typical of their work (...)

The photographs, digital works and paintings , hung by Eilleen Cooper and Bill Jacklin , celebrate the messy reality of life (...) Some of these works focus on the private places we go to escape: the shed or the garden, or the magical world of the imagination , which we see in Mick Rooney's paintings. Other reveal private passions.
