ABOUT

Tomorrow Will Still Be Ours is a three-week festival that gathers a diverse array of activists, artists, and thinkers to help shape our collective response to a changing America. Together we will examine the world as it is, imagine the world as we want it to be, and work to advance that vision.

The festival, curated by Brian Tate, will present free public forums on three distinct movements with rich histories of social change: Black Activism, Religious Activism, and Environmental Activism. Now, in the nation's new political landscape, those movements are themselves on rapidly shifting ground. How will they respond? Through panel discussions with leaders and innovators in each area, Tomorrow Will Still Be Ours will place those movements in political and cultural context, and outline a future when their progressive values are again ascendant.

The festival's cultural programming includes performances by some of the most original artists in New York City.
