500 Years

A solo exhibition entitled “500 Years” presenting the recent creations by acclaimed Belgian artist Heidi Voet is on view at Project Fulfill Art Space, Taipei and will run through January 8, 2017.

Heidi Voet intends to offer a unique outlook on life set in distinct realms in order to discern the environment, which is thoughtlessly exhausted and subsequently aims to retrieve the worth of being and significance of everyday articles that are commonly disregarded. “500 years” represents the state and usage of plastic bags in Taiwan, which are cheap, convenient to use and while their using life extremely petite, the expected time necessary for their decomposition accounts for about 500 years.
