Critical Cities is a Contemporary Art extended program which seeks to reflect artistic production and its connection with the city, creating dialogues with social, historical and architectonic factors comprised by this environment.

The meeting and communication between artists and urban communities is the starting point for a process of artistic creation which is based on interesting mechanisms of integrated mediation.

Critical Cities is a moment of critical reflection on the urban transformation processes that the city has undergone in the past decade, evoking issues such as tourism, housing and urban ways of life.

This goal will be attained through a long preliminary ethnographic work and the artists' and curators' constant presence on the territory, who since February 2016, have been exploring the city by an artistic and anthropological research, following the change processes and the social and cultural shifts that this geographical area has been suffering.
