Darb 1718 is proud to present “Sculpture Now” collective art exhibition. The exhibition opening will be on Saturday, October 1st 2016 at 7:00 PM.

“Sculpture Now” is a mixed-media sculpture exhibition that focuses on creativity, experimentation and modernization rather than focusing on specific sculpture mediums. With this upcoming exhibition; Darb aims to shed light on ambitions experimental contemporary sculpture projects.

“Sculpture Now” strives to present varied approaches from a wide pool of exhibiting artists to clearly highlight and outline the current standing point Egyptian sculptors are at.

The exhibition is curated by Omar Tosson. Tosson is an Egyptian artists and curator born in Alexandria. Tosson attended the University of Alexandria where he graduated the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1993. Tosson participated in numerous local, regional and international exhibitions, he also curated and participated in sculpture symposiums locally. Tosson has many art contributions in many official institutions in Egypt, Australia, Turkey, India, Romania and Serbia he is also featured in many local and international private collections.

The exhibition is open between October 1st and November 30th, 2016.

Working hours; Saturday to Thursday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays: 4-10 p.m.
