Galerie Iragui, Moscow and narrative projects, London, are pleased to announce the first solo exhibition in Moscow by Carlos Noronha Feio.The title of Noronha Feio’s exhibition comes from the Soviet silent sci-fi movie Aelita (1924). It quotes the intertitle from the scene where Aelita, who lives on Mars, first encounters Los, a visitor from Earth. She asks him ‘Touch my lips with your lips - - as you do on Earth’. In this poetic manner, Carlos Noronha Feio underlines the gap in communication inherent within any form of intercultural exchange.
