ABOUT
The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes presents The way things are, a solo exhibition by Glexis Novoa (Havana, 1964), which runs from September 23, 2016 until January 16, 2017.
Novoa has been in the collection of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes since 1990, and his works has been displayed in the permanent galleries since 2001. The new project, conceived specifically for the institution, is a suggestive and vigorous series of large paintings produced in Havana from 2015 to 2016, as well as a selection of his well-known graphite drawings on walls fragments, presented this time from a new sculptural perspective.
A lecture with the artist will be held on September 27 at the theater of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, located at the Arte Cubano building.
