Brasil, Beleza?!

In Brasil, Beleza ?! the visitor gets to grips with the current state of affairs in contemporary Brazilian art and culture. The country is now at the peak of an economic crisis and considerable political instability. The artists reflect from different themes on contemporary conditions in which they live and at the same time refer back to historic moments that have influenced the formation of the current Brazil. Indeed, Brazil is a gigantic country whose history, as it were from outside is written inside. The multifaceted identity of the country is the result of centuries of immigration from Europe, Africa and Asia. The exhibition offers have been seeing a colorful look at the country with a selection of historical, contemporary, and new works by over 25 artists not previously many of them in the Netherlands. On the square in The Hague will include a gym decorated concrete, and a tropical forest with beach chairs for a get together or time of integration. In the museum, an ice cream parlor is installed with ice in shades of gray, where to tests at regular intervals. The movement of Brazil will include illustrated by cargo bikes with brick and designs wheelchairs.
