Introduction: a summer exhibition/block party/fundraiser

Pilot Projects is excited to announce our summer exhibition INTRODUCTION. For this exhibition, we invited nine of our favorite artists to exhibit, who then invited some of their favorite artists to exhibit. The exhibition, opening July 30th from 6:00-11:00, occurs in conjunction with our summer fund-raiser and block party, featuring activities such as a silent art auction, barbecue, artist-run cocktail bar, stand-up comedy and karaoke to name a few. The festivities will spill out into the street and into the green space adjacent to the gallery. 

The directors at Pilot Projects are excited to find alternative sources of funding to support our exhibitions and projects. It is with this in mind that the majority of the proceeds generated from our silent auction goes directly to the artists who we are working with. It is also with this in mind, that we are opening up our side yard as a site for our events, a barbecue, performances and dancing.

The event is free and open to the public, however, all-inclusive tickets to the fundraiser are available for $15 online or $20 at the door (or drinks/food by cash at event). This ticket provides you with food, drinks and entertainment, and a complimentary swag bag of editioned artist made goods. We are incredibly excited to throw this shin-dig, and look forward to seeing you there. For less than the price of dinner, you can help support emerging artists and the upcoming year of programming at Pilot Projects.
