Big Bang Data

All data generated from our mobile, through sensors, social networks, digital photos and videos, records of purchase transactions and GPS signals. The novelty is that it is becoming easier to store and process this enormous amount of data that detect patterns (incidents, behavioral, consumer, voting, investment, etc.).

Big Bang Data is a project that explores the phenomenon of data explosion in which we are immersed. Since the last five years there is a broad awareness among academics, scientists, governments, business and culture, that generate, process and, above all, interpreting data are developing technologies that can radically change our society.

The exhibition is co - produced by Fundación Telefónica and the CCCB and curated by Olga Subiró s and José Luis de Vicente .In her participating creators as Timo Arnall , Aaron Koblin , Ingo Günther , Brendan Dawes , Erik Kessels , Jaime Serra and Santiago Ortiz .  Researchers, activists , designers, educators, analysts, cartographers, engineers, economists, architects, journalists, programmers, journalists offering different approaches to the phenomenon of Big Data.
