“Rules Of The Game” is a multidisciplinary work for eight dancers featuring new sculptural and film work by Daniel Arsham.  The project is the largest collaboration between Jonah Bokaer (choreography) and Daniel Arsham (scenography) and their first partnership with Pharrell Williams (score). For Arsham, working in theater has always been about playing with time.  By allowing dancers to interact with sculptural works in the stage space and extending and slowing their movement through film, "Rules of the Game" attempts to draw the audience into a game where time is malleable.

The music composed by Grammy Award winner Pharrell Williams represents his first composition for live dance and theater. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will perform live at the premiere, following a three part creation residency in Dallas for the artists.   The costumes for "Rules of the Game" were created exclusively for this performance by the Los Angeles based designer Chris Stamp.

The program will also include previous collaborations between Arsham and Bokaer including "Recess" from 2010 and "Why Patterns" in collaboration with Snarkitecture from 2011.
