The Other Art Fair

APT artist Elaine Mullings is participating The Other Art Fair, launching a new series of prints.

Elaine's multidisciplinary practice centres around printmaking, sculpture and installation. A delight in material and process is the currency that runs through Elaine’s printmaking. Her fascination here is with the circle - the large, shiny discs of copper, silver and gold or the bold, flat shimmery discs of colour that feature in her screen prints. An arts residency in China made a lasting impact on her use of colour and luminous or iridescent pigments. Recently, Elaine has concentrated on monotype screen printing – a way of creating images that exists somewhere between printing making and painting.
