I'm Just Here to Say 'Hello'

The APT artist duo FAMED produces their work site-specific. Physical, social and political aspects are considered and ransformed into pieces that manifest in a variety of media and often combine architectonic, sculptural, textual and perfomative approaches. They analyse identity and productivity, presence and absence, visibility and the possibility of representation in the context of contemporary art and society – as for example the freedom of not fulfilling expectations.

Their works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibtions, including in the Kunsthalle Bremerhaven, Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig, The Brno House of Arts as well as at the Manifesta 7 in Rovereto and the Longbridge Light Festival in Birmingham.
