More than 20 years of activity of 3LHD architects, authors of some of the key works of recent Croatian architecture, such as the Hotel Lone in Rovinj, Split Waterfront or sports and public center Zamet in Rijeka, marked by changes in architectural practice. During the continuous growth of offices and increasing the scope and complexity of the tasks 3LHD has developed a methodology of work in which the architectural firm primarily a platform for co-ordinated production and exchange of knowledge. The dynamics of development and implementation of major projects demanded innovation in the structuring and organization of the office to ensure intensive and effective cooperation within the 3LHD. The complexity of the project has led to many fruitful cooperation with creative people from different disciplines, from artists and designers to structural engineers and technologists who are from the beginning of the design involved in the development of architectural concepts.

The sensitivity of the tasks with which the office has faced led to strong media exposure projects 3LHD and vigorous debate that architecture brought into the focus of public interest. All these phenomena, which can be subsumed under the generic term interaction are the basis for the exhibition project that analyzes and displays the methods of creative work and cooperation, the complexity of the process of realization of buildings and public reception and impact of projects. Rather than a retrospective one office, exhibition affirms the collective creativity and interaction of all participants in the process of making architecture.

The exhibition is treated as a new project 3LHD numbered 250, and emerges as a collective work of the inner project team, the entire study and associates. The content of the exhibition are being designed in parallel, as a whole. The exhibition is based on a modular three-dimensional system that forms the "interior of the city" in the space for temporary exhibitions MSU. The content is developed through a series of independent thematic units that discusses the various aspects of the formation and use of architecture. The focus of the exhibition is not to the individual objects, but the skills involved in the development of architecture and on its performance. At the presentation of individual stocks are doing projects 3LHD architects who were originally involved in their development and implementation, with an effort to keep the authenticity of the displayed material and individual contributions within the study. In order to faithfully reconstructed ideas, concepts and working processes, in the development of the exhibition are actively involved prominent associates 3LHD: artists, designers, designer and second-Latter involved in the interpretation of his works. Contractors-contractors involved in making replicas of natural elements 3LHD realization of real scale, and some projects, such as EXPO pavilion in Aichi in 2005, will appear in a new constructed format.
