ABOUT

Galleria Bianconi inaugurates the "second volume" Compendium of the "Piccolo instruction of painting", a project born in 2014 from the collaboration of APT artist Matteo Fato, Lorenzo Vinegar, Simone Eyelashes, Luca De Angelis,  Gianni Garrera, David Mancini Zanchi, Paris Petrei and Alberto Zanchetta, who come together in this second stage eight new authors: Marco Antonini, Francesco De Grandi, Luigi Massari, John Oberti, Pancrazzi, Luigi Presicce, Fabrizio Prevedello, Thanos Zakopoulos.

Part of a vast literature, treatises accompanies the production ar-tistical since ancient Greece. Throughout history it has repeatedly changed his identity, maintaining a constant attention to the technical data of the artwork. With the revolutions made by the avant-garde - that have also affected the level of practice - the twentieth century saw the gradual decline of this type of literature. Small compendium of instructions pit ture claims the irrelevance of such documents, subjecting them to a reflection type decostrutti-vo, and at the same time making them the object of artistic intervention.

On this basis it plans an exhibition which presents itself like a manua-the lacking any objective basis, rather claims to be subject to many ambiguities, as well as nell'apostrofo alluded to in the title of the project. Interpreted in two ways-verse - "instruction" but "destruction" - the title highlights the bipolar nature of the exhibition, focusing on painting and at the same time against it. For the same reason, the authors involved are not only painters but also sculptors, photographers, critics, writers, philosophers, etc., each of which we are committed to offer a personal interpretation / presentation of this discipline artists-ca.

Reflecting on the concept of painting, each participant has selected a typical argument of manuals and worked on it in two ways: with a contribution of nature theo-rica (drawn on a surface that simulates the page of a hypothetical treaty) and with an inter-wind visual alluding to the illustration of that compendium.

The conflict between painting and Word here more derailments but also unexpected conni-venze, [d] stating the fickleness and the polysemy of the Ars picta. Although the project is still in progress, the end result should be that of a tractatus sui generis leaves is scattered inside the tunnel, and that hypothetically could take the form of a real book.
