ABOUT

APT artist Juanli Carrion is participating the exhibition"GRAMÁTICAS DE LA TEMPORALIDAD".

In recent years, the time has become one of the central problems of contemporary art and a primary tool of reading and thinking a model for society. After that during the nineties was "space" the protagonist of many reflections, especially those related to the global world -achatamiento world, fusion places ... - in the last decade many people have been aware that Globalization is not just a matter of space, but also a matter of time.

While it is true that-just-space dimension that is essential and without it they could not understand the history of art in the last decade are many artists who have begun to problematize, reflect, rethink about the different uses of time. Memory, presence of the past in the present, broken future, altered time, time suspended, acceleration ... through the most varied strategies and disciplines, many contemporary artists have begun to question the hegemonic temporality of this, distorting and reprocessing the experience what we might call "modern times", linear, standardized, machined and "monochronic" which was established in industrial society.

A brief look at contemporary art in recent decades will find a range of poetic with time as think tank. In all cases-and this is the important, the time dimension is used as a weapon of resistance against the establishment, against hegemonic regimes of temporality. Withstand time through the introduction of a different time. Weather denatured profaned time, lifetime, subjective time, duration time, last time, memory time. Times altering the temporal pattern instituted by modernity.

In this exhibition, the altered timing, the setback will be the story line around which we will build the exhibit. With this key to interpretation, we will explore the work of many artists File Creators Murcia, seeking connection with this central problem concerning contemporary art, and making visible well and contemporary relevance of proposals that we think are the highest level of the art being produced in other contexts.

Following the tripartite structure of the cannery, we propose three lines of reflection on time to suit many of the proposals of the artists.

After interrupted / Memory studs first. We will work here with works that reflect on the memory, the presence of the past in the present, the story, the file ... under the idea that the rescue of the past is a way to slow dissolution and dematerialisation of contemporary experience.

Artist: Tatiana Abellán, Concha Martinez Barreto, Rosell Meseguer, Sonia Navarro, Salvo Vivancos.

Present other / altered times. In this space there will be proposals to work on rhythms and temporal experiences that break the logic of modern times: accelerations, interruptions, slow motion, process, anachronisms, heterochronies. Altered time.

Artist: María José Climent, Fito Conesa, Lez Ramón, Antonio Gil Munuera, Juan Sanchez.

Futures (im) possible / Communities to come. The link with the social, activism, the possibility of changing the present structure ... a large number of artists committed to their environment to show the change or difficulties.

Artist: Clara Boj and Diego Diaz, Juanli Carrion, Juan Antonio Cerezuela, Consume THIS.

Overall this is a temporary setback watch grammar. As suggested Koselleck, times touch and are in constant motion. Art can help us to think about the ways in which past, present and future come together. Conversely, the articulation of time is a prime tool reading to account for the reality of advanced art.
