Cambodia International Film Festival

APT artist Azharr Rudin is presenting his film "Majidee" at the Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF) 2015. In the film two men meet in transit from Kuala Lumpur's Puduraya to a train station. Can trust be developed between the two strangers in an illusory world?

The film explores trust and kindness between strangers as its central theme, won awards at film festivals in Hawaii, Tokyo and Singapore. His other works have shown/exhibited/stored in various places and also available in multiple outputs including partially edible installations and digital prints. Recurring themes in his films and installations span across (yet not limited to) places in transition to marginal our/her/histories and perspectives.
