A Sense of Place

APT artist Jairo Alfonso is presenting his work "193"  in the exhibition "A Sense of Place", a Selections from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, on view from December 2-6, 2015 at Mana Wynwood, Miami. 

Co-curated by Patricia Hanna and Anelys Alvarez, the exhibition includes a selection of over 60 works from the collection of Jorge M. Pérez, A Sense of Place uses the most recent acquisitions in Latin American art as a platform to explore the concept of cultural identity. Artists in the show include a mix of well-known and emerging art stars from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay, including: Omar Barquet, José Bedia, Jorge Méndez Blake, Carlos Cárdenas, Los Carpinteros, Enrique Martínez Celaya, Eugenio Dittborn, Gonzalo Fuenmayor, Carlos Garaicoa, Guillermo Kuitca, Gilda Mantilla, Moris, Vik Muniz, Oscar Muñoz, Damián Ortega, Liliana Porter, Sandra Ramos, Pablo Rasgado, Camilo Restrepo, Graciela Sacco, Ana Tiscornia, José  A. Vincench, Ishmael Randall Weeks, and many others.
