Spectacular peripheral consists of a video program of artists from countries of Ibero America and the Caribbean, each video is a visual record of a series of actions carried out in different areas of cities in these regions and that unfold as a work, and either on video or not, and he has participated in various exhibitions in public and institutional spaces.

The images transport us to different scenarios by analogy with the dramatic movement in different dimensions: A paraphrasing the language of advertising and the implicit spectacular image to make a political comment message, advertise a product or government achievement; It has to do with the content that make each of the artists subtly and not directly with the public environment and reflects the relationship with current events such as public demonstrations and exercises where citizens come into conflict issues as the economy, education and culture, identity or basic rights to free expression and transit: the News and the world of realities.

the second has to do in relation to the landscape and the city, the program aims to be a working dialogue channel as a communication channel with the largest circulation north of the city of Mexico the peripheral north, the roof of a building the historic center of Guatemala and the web through a channel monitoring; these were determined by the network of projects that are operating in these areas of each city and not operating as museums but as artistic projects; Each video has already had its share of circuits as a gallery exhibition, museum or two, thus giving the official character to each image and wide screen returning to its spectacular dimension relative to the projection in each building.

Peripheral Spectacular video is a proposal that seeks to create a moment of dialogue with the city as a means of visual reflection about the issues of today and is manifested as an intervention in public space.
