ABOUT

Triangle Arts Association is coming to Salem Art Works for the 2015 Triangle Artists' Workshop, a two week intensive residency from August 23 - September 6, 2015. The Workshop will culminate with an open-to-the-public Open Studios on Saturday, September 5 from 2-8 PM.

Triangle Arts Association is a New York City-based non-profit arts organization founded in 1982 to support international and U.S. artists. Triangle’s core initiatives: Residencies, Workshops and Public Programs are centered on dialogue, experimentation and the creation of community around art.

Triangle's founding program, the Triangle Artists’ Workshop, was created by artist Anthony Caro in 1982 and is known for its intensity of dialogue and the unique artistic community it generates. The Workshop assembles 25 artists from around the world to make art intensely together for two weeks straight, working side-by-side, eating meals together, and tirelessly exchanging ideas. Over the years this program has brought diverse artists from over 60 countries to New York and initiated a dynamic network of sister arts organizations around the world, known as the Triangle Network.
