ABOUT

NEW DOMESTIC LANDSCAPE The exhibition, from September 5 to October 17, 2015 presents three artists whose work establishes a dialogue between design, architecture and nature.

A carpet garden, castles vases of water and a photographic diptych evoking an architectural experience, create a set of scales by a gap between the inside and the outside.

The carpet, a sort of home garden wool, soft and inviting, is the work of artist Stéphanie Nava, co-produced by GREAT DESIGN and Riccardo Crespi Gallery in Milan in a limited edition of 7 copies. This is a minimalist composition, memorial garden to rigorously aligned shrubs that appears in a scene from the film Alain Resnais'  Last Year at Marienbad.

The work  Mirror # 2  Artist Antoine Espinasseau questions the relationship between space and photography. This is a diptyque representing two photographs strictly symmetrical in their design. Natural prospects photos and those built by their executives make up a "room" between inside and outside of the wall space.

The duo of artists and photographers BUKA (Lorenzo Butti and Elisa Cartocci) performed GREAT DESIGN unprecedented series of five vases in white terracotta limited edition of 3 copies. These vases are the object of design in declination of a photographic project in which a series of water towers are being transformed into huge vases of flowers. The project was shown for the first time in Milan at the last Furniture Show in April 2015.
