ABOUT

Julius Zanet goes to market. Artistic incursions to Metropolitan Market.

Opens Thursday, July 23, the exhibition "You know I do not like taking commitments" by ArtCan, first in a series of events dedicated to contemporary art housed in the space of Via Valenza 2.

Milan, July 17 - Metropolitan Market opens to contemporary art with a calendar of events theme: starting Thursday, July 23 at 18:30 with the opening of the exhibition of the painter Giulio Zanet operated in collaboration with ArtCan, which will last until Aug. 10.

Putting in place a process of abstraction, Zanet realizes works that deal with the documentation of moments and reflections of everyday life and the question of how they can be represented. His work is an investigation into the images, the representation of the world, as well as representation of ideas that find their realization through painting.

Ambiguity and evidence, repetition, variation, rules and omissions, acceptance and rejection are elements that Zanet brings into play to bring the viewer to question the meaning of the work.

His works do not refer to recognizable forms and the results are deconstructions of reality whose meaning is open to possible and multifaceted interpretations.

This increases the dynamic between audience and author highlighting the inability to objectify the emotions and eternal duality that govern the world. His works do not show a complete structure, narrate excerpts of stories without subjects and verbs, and endlessly curious suggest metaphors.

Zanet will implement three new works for the Metropolitan Market, also presenting a collection of placemats for breakfast where they will play three subjects of original paintings for sale at the market Market Metropolitan 15 € in packs of 2 pieces each.
