MY HORIZONTAL IS YOUR VERTICAL

During the Project Space Festival Berlin, Scotty Enterprises will present the exhibition MY HORIZONTAL IS YOUR VERTICAL with new works by Chryssa Tsampazi and Sharon Paz. IRRESISTIBLE FORCE, a two channel video installation by Sharon Paz, juxtaposes animated silhouettes of conflicting imagery with private sceneries, which are superimposed by patterns reminiscent of the camouflage commonly used by the military. While Paz’ installation divides the exhibition space into two equal parts, and invites the audience to take sides and participate, Chryssa Tsampazi’s sound installation From My West To Reach All The Way To The East, which is inspired by Zelda Rhiando's novel Caposcripti, is audible only outside on the street. On Tuesday, 4th of August 2015, Tsampazi will end the exhibition with a performance for which she invites people from different backgrounds to run, to pass through and by Scotty Enterprises in their attempt to escape, compete, arrive or recreate from their own realities.
