Vom Großen und Ganzen

Premiere for the Gerisch Foundation. For the first time in its history it gives an insight into a top-class, focused on international contemporary art Private Collection. From late April to early October, the Foundation shows a representative selection of the 200 objects in the collection based in northern Germany House N. Because of their size, the exhibition is divided into two parts. In early August, they will proceed to a second, assisted by several curators part. The collection includes works of mostly young international art in all genres and media: from painting and sculpture to installation, from photography to film to video. They include numerous works by emerging artists and established names. The Colombian Shooting Star Oscar Murillo (1986, Columbia), Thorsten Brinkmann (1971, Germany), Alicja Kwade (1979, Poland / Germany), Santiago Sierra (1966, Spain) and Wu Tsang (1982, USA): Among them, the total duration of the exhibition : April 25 to October 4 Part 1: April 25 to July 26, part 2: 8 August to 4 October
