A PROJECT FOR LEICA

Daniel Arsham and Leica are pleased to invite you to celebrate a new exhibition of work on display at the Leica Gallery in Los Angeles.

For this special project, Arsham has been given access to the Leica camera archive. Leica's most historic camera models such as the Leica III from the late 1930s, Leica CL, Digilux 2, M3 and M8 models are cast in geological materials such as obsidian, crystal, and volcanic ash; reimagined as relics of a time past. The reception will also celebrate an exhibition of behind-the-scenes photographs by James Law, from the making of Arsham's upcoming film "Future Relic'.
