ABOUT

Group exhibition organized by the Impakto and Gonzalez Y Gonzalez galleries, which revolves around the post modern problems of Latin American cities, where new wealth and long histories of violence, social division and traditions collude in the same imaginary.

The Dickensian universe is then the window to introduce us to a brief sample of the bipolarity of our contemporary reality:

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of faith, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of hope, it was the season of despair, we had everything, we had nothing, we would all go straight to heaven, all go live in the other direction - in short, the weather was so similar to the present, some of the busiest authorities insisted that is received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of the simple comparison. "- Charles Dickens

The exhibition takes place simultaneously in the two galleries, which function as the two cities of Dickens, both natural features to their environment.

The exhibition features the participation of artists: Alexis Zambrano (Mexico), Bryan Graf (USA) Chris Dorland (USA), Flavio Samelo (Brazil), Gamaliel Rodriguez (Puerto Rico), Isidro Blasco (Spain), Livia Marin (Chile / England), Marialejandra Lozano (Peru) of Impakto gallery; and Abel Bentin (Peru), Andres Bedoya (Bolivia), Fernando Bryce (Peru), Ignacio Noguerol (Peru), Lore Vanelslande (Belgium), Nicolás Franco (Chile), Nicole Frenchy (Peru), Sonia Cunliffe & Silvana Pestana (Peru ) of Gonzalez Y Gonzalez gallery.
