ABOUT

The 2-channel video-installation is a new instance of an ongoing series investigating movement in and between cities. Travel and commutes are often a collective experience where movement is a common denominator of a group in the same transport vehicle on the same route. The installation captures micro-moments frozen in time, creating an opportunity to contemplate how we keep and recall memories related to movement. As Michel de Certeau states in his book Practice of Everyday Life, “a space exists when one takes into consideration vectors of direction, velocities, and time variables.”
