Encompassing photography, video, installation and textile, the exhibited works focus on local concerns that intersect with global forces, providing Australian audiences with a unique insight into how the region’s ground-breaking artists are creatively investigating the world around them.

The exhibition will feature the artworks of eight artists from Southeast Asia: Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan (Philippines/Australia), Chan Dany (Cambodia), Khvay Samnang (Cambodia), Nge Lay (Myanmar), Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai (Vietnam), Phan Quang (Vietnam) and Piyarat Piyapongwiwat (Thailand).
