Curator Chus Martínez talks to artist Andrea Büttner about her current display at Tate Britain, exploring Büttner’s interest in notions of poverty, shame, vulnerability and dignity and the belief systems that underpin them.
Büttner will also discuss her recent research into the Gwen John and moss plant collections of the National Museum Cardiff. The evening will launch her artist’s book Hidden Marriages: Gwen John and Moss (Koenig, 2014).
