This is an exhibition about the exploration of "lines" by the A·lift at ART14 London. Six promising local young artists, create their pieces with fine lines, reflecting their perception towards the city, call for political progression and energetic vision with modern thinking.
"Lines" first appeared in cave paintings in ancient times. It is the principle means of expression that opens the door to the world of images and languages. Evolved with advancement of thinking and technology, "lines", pure but sophisticated in nature, has developed into a perfect system of expression and communication. For certain artists it is the simplest but also purest form of representation.
