Decisive Moments: Photographs from the Collection of Cherye R. and James F. Pierce

Decisive Moments is drawn from the extensive, rich collection of 20th-century and contemporary photographs assembled over 40 years by Jim and Cherye Pierce. The wide-ranging selection runs from traditional iconic images to the of-the-moment conceptual.

The exhibition is comprised of five sections the main exhibition that focuses on what Henri Cartier-Bresson dubbed “the decisive moment,” whether real or manufactured, as well as four smaller focused shows on botanicals, animals, Karl Struss, and Surrealism.
