BIOGRAPHY

Laleh Khorramian (b. 1974 Tehran) received an MFA from The School of Visual Arts at Columbia University in New York (2004); a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago (1997); and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1995. In 2007, she received grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and The Pat Hearn and Colin Deland Foundation. Selected solo exhibitions include Salon 94 Freeman's in New York (2008); Laleh Khorramian at The Thirdline in Dubai (2006); Chopperlady at Salon 94 in New York (2005). Group exhibitions include M.A.S.H. at The Helena in New York (2007); Uncertain States of America - American Video Art of the 3rd Millenium at the Moscow Biennial in Moscow (2007); Hello I'm Crashing at Salon 94 in New York (2007); and Cosmologies at James Cohan Gallery in New York (2007). She is represented by Salon 94 in New York. Laleh Khorramian lives and works in New York.
